NCERT said on 25 September 2026 that no topics were removed: Lines and Angles ideas are taught inside Chapter 9 and Chapter 12, and Euclidean geometry is spread across Chapters 5, 6, 9, 12 and 13. Is Ganita Manjari Part 2 released?

Yes. NCERT published Ganita Manjari Part II on its textbook website at the end of September 2026. The book’s first edition is dated August 2026, and all six chapter PDFs and the full-book ZIP are linked on this page (checked 1 October 2026).

How many chapters are in Ganita Manjari Part 2?

Six: Chapter 9, Propositions and their Converses; Chapter 10, How Quantities Combine: Understanding Data; Chapter 11, The World of Algorithms; Chapter 12, Quadrilaterals; Chapter 13, Two Variables, One Line; and Chapter 14, Math of Space: Surface Area and Volume.

Why does Part 2 start at Chapter 9?

Because Ganita Manjari is one book in two volumes. Part 1 has Chapters 1 to 8, and Part 2 continues the numbering with Chapters 9 to 14.

Is the Ganita Manjari Part 2 PDF free and official?

Yes. Every link on this page opens the PDF directly from NCERT’s own server (ncert.nic.in). NCERT makes its textbooks free to download, with no login or payment.

Is Ganita Manjari Part 2 available in Hindi medium?

Not yet. On 1 October 2026 NCERT’s website had the Hindi-medium edition of Part 1 only. We will add Part 2 in Hindi to this page when NCERT publishes it.

Where are Lines and Angles and Triangles in the new Class 9 Maths book?

They have no separate chapter. NCERT says Lines and Angles concepts are covered in Chapter 9 (Propositions and their Converses) and Chapter 12 (Quadrilaterals), and Chapter 12 also uses midpoint and median properties of triangles.

Which chapter covers linear equations in two variables?

Chapter 13, Two Variables, One Line. It covers linear equations in two variables, their graphs, and pairs of linear equations solved by substitution, elimination and graphs.

Is Part 2 in the 2026–27 Class 9 Maths syllabus?

Yes. Ganita Manjari, Parts 1 and 2, is NCERT’s Class 9 Maths textbook for 2026–27. NCERT has said the final 2026–27 syllabus will be released with CBSE in October 2026, so check the final list of chapters for exams then. See our Class 9 Maths syllabus guide.

Can CBSE students in the Gulf use Ganita Manjari Part 2?

Yes. The PDFs download from anywhere, and CBSE schools in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain follow the same CBSE curriculum as schools in India.
