Already Updated (2025-26 onwards)

New NEP‑aligned textbooks for Classes 1 to 8 have already been released and are being used in CBSE schools across Bahrain, GCC, and India. These include Maths Mela, Santoor, Veena, Our Wondrous World, etc.

📘 Grade 9

New Textbooks for Grade 9 – Available Now

NCERT has released the first set of NEP‑aligned textbooks for Class 9 (2026-27). Ganita Manjari (Mathematics), Exploration (Science), Kaveri (English), Ganga (Hindi), Sharada (Sanskrit), etc., are now available for free download.

Existing Textbooks for 2026-27

As per NCERT's official advisory (March 2026), students in Grades 10 and 11 will continue with their existing textbooks during the 2026-27 academic session. The revised NEP‑aligned textbooks for these grades will be introduced from the 2027-28 academic year onwards.

New Textbooks for Grade 12 – Awaiting Official Confirmation

NCERT has announced that textbooks for Classes 9–12 will be revised under NEP 2020. While earlier announcements indicated availability from 2026-27, the latest advisory suggests a phased approach. Grade 12 students should refer to the official NCERT website for the most current updates.
