Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the MTA WhatsApp API App integrated with Odoo, operated by Learnify Academy BPC (“we”, “our”, “us”). By using this application, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

The MTA WhatsApp API App enables WhatsApp messaging functionality within Odoo for business-related communication, including but not limited to notifications, invoices, reminders, and customer messages.

2. Eligibility

You must be authorized to use Odoo and WhatsApp Business services to use this application. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the service only for lawful and legitimate business purposes. You must not:

  • Send spam, unsolicited, or bulk promotional messages without consent

  • Violate WhatsApp Business Platform or Meta policies

  • Transmit illegal, harmful, or misleading content

  • Attempt to misuse, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining explicit consent from recipients before sending WhatsApp messages

  • Ensuring message content complies with WhatsApp template rules

  • Managing user access and permissions within Odoo

  • Maintaining the security of your system credentials

5. Third-Party Services

This application relies on third-party platforms including:

  • WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta)

  • Odoo

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers

Learnify Academy BPC is not responsible for outages, changes, or limitations imposed by these third parties.

6. Data Handling

  • Message data is processed only to deliver WhatsApp messages through Odoo.

  • Data storage and retention are governed by your Odoo configuration.

  • We do not claim ownership over your message content or customer data.

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Service availability may be affected by maintenance, technical issues, or third-party platform changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Learnify Academy BPC shall not be liable for:

  • Message delivery failures

  • Data loss caused by third-party services

  • Business losses, indirect, or consequential damages

  • Suspension or termination by WhatsApp or Meta

9. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the service if:

  • These Terms are violated

  • WhatsApp or Meta policies are breached

  • The service is misused or used unlawfully

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update or modify the service or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
